Hats are cool! They can be both utilitarian and fashion fun.
Hats can keep your head warm, hide your locks on a bad hair day, allow you to hide from the world or create a brand new look for yourself.
Throughout history, women have sported the most elaborate and stylish hats. Some women are known for their hats. For instance, Hedda Hopper and Jackie Kennedy.

Some women wear hats all the time and others wouldn’t consider it, stating, “Hats look bad on me.”
If you’re in the hats look bad on me crowd, think about this. Maybe you just haven’t found the right hat yet.
Being the sporty type and being prone to funny hair days (my curly hair has a mind of it’s own), I wear a lot of baseball caps. It’s become my signature. But, it’s not always the best look (evidenced by the fact that I’m not including me in a baseball hat picture here).
Some women just look great in hats. One of those women is my friend, Stephanie…who also CREATES awesome hats that she sells online and at craft shows.
Meet Stephanie Arbuckle – hat designer extraordiare . . .

My friend, Wendy and I took a trip to the coast this past weekend to visit Stephanie at a local holiday craft show where she featured her beautiful creations.
We had fun trying on a hat for the camera.
I should have purchased this one for the holidays. It’s not bad. What do you think?

Wendy is hiding in this hat. Maybe that’s why she liked it. I think it’s cute and could be pulled up a little bit to show more of that beautiful face.

Maybe it’s time you considered a new hat for yourself or someone on your gift list.
Personally, I think I’ll visit Stephanie’s Hatbox today and buy myself that red hat. I deserve it!

You look great in that red hat!
I love seeing both you and Wendy in those great hats! And yes, you should buy the red one.
But – alas – as you know, every time I try on a hat, it sends you and everyone else in the vicinity into laughter fits.
Years ago, I loved wearing hats – fedora type affairs – with long feathers on them – oh my!
And then, there were the hippie artist berets. If I can ever find those photos . . . .

That red hat was made for you! Looks fantastic!
I love wearing hats—I wear them to services every week. Which coast is Stephanie on?
Thanks Cheryl!
Jess, you are the queen of hats. You wore some awesome and “groovy” hats back in the 70’s and 80’s. Give it another try.
Susan, Stephanie is on the West Coast. But, her hats are on every coast…online, that is.
i’m one of those who believe i do NOT look good in hats. i suppose i should start trying some on and just maybe i will find the perfect one for me!
