Here I was one week ago, at Wisdom Woman Weekend. I wasn’t sure if all my months of planning was going to culminate in a smooth, flowing event.
But, based on the evidence below, and the lovely responses I received from my post-retreat survey, I’m certain it did.
Emily. You look so happy and relaxed! Your face sums up the whole experience.
Emily Wesolek taught an awesome Art Journaling workshop that gave our Wisdom Women new ideas about how to capture the moments of their lives.
She let us see examples of the many incredible journals she’s completed over the past few years. She told us her personal story of healing and shared her art and soul.
I walked away with a renewed excitement about my art journal and new tips as well! Emily did her Aunt Jess proud (the queen of Art Journaling and Emily’s teacher!)
The Creating Your Vision Board workshop taught by April Franklin was a big hit! Just take a look at these happy creators!

Everyone loved Julie Wesolek’s Pilate’s class! Julie is moving around so fast to help her students, that my camera couldn’t even catch her.
Yoga by Bonne, Meditation by Cassie, Aqua Fun by Mary Kay, Improv by Ann. The weekend was fun, enlightening, relaxing and entertaining.
Group Soup on Friday night and California Porridge on Saturday a.m. were bonding and great. BUT the real sumptuous delights came when these two women showed up on Saturday!
A special THANK YOU to Lori and Joanna of California Girl Catering. In a word? DELICIOUS! On a scale from 1 to 5 (5 being excellent)? 5+++
NEXT TIME? I need another camera person who can take more shots of all our adventures. Thanks to Mary Kay for most of the pics above!

I enjoyed the wonderful series of teachings you have posted in the past.
This was a really great weekend of learning, sharing and restoring. I would highly recommend and certainly plan to attend future events. Thanks Cassie for attending to every nurturing little detail. absolutely fabulous.
