I’ve been nagged by this idea of Wonder Woman vs. Wisdom Woman for over a month now, so I decided to begin a series of blog posts to talk about the subject (see past few posts).
Ironically, at the very same time, my own sister was LIVING the “overachiever” dream (nightmare) and telling me how excited she was about all the new ideas she has for she and Mark, and the new gallery, and the new art classes and on, and on, and on.
A CLASSIC case of Wonder Woman Syndrome (WWS) was going on right under my nose and I didn’t even realize it! What kind of a sister am I?
Jess went missing for a while, buried under the weight of her own creativity and Mom and I were posing questions like, “Wisdom Women wonder where Wisdom Woman #ONE, turned Wonder Woman, has wandered off to.”
As is very common with WWS, she suddenly surfaced to share her innermost thoughts in “Diary of an OverAchiever.”
The comments seem to suggest that this syndrome is widespread and in fact, pandemic!
I think I’ve found the cause and the cure. I”ll share it with you in tomorrow’s post.
